A Time to Shine

Frosty is a gorgeous 8 years old gelding who stands about 16.2 hands. Through no fault of his own, he has done little, but in the past 8 weeks - having been given the opportunity to 'get cracking' - he has excelled himself and has more than surpassed my expectations.

A super type of horse, Frosty is well put together, has strong clean limbs and loads of untapped potential. He has a lovely outlook on life and is easy to handle. His father is an Appaloosa showjumping stallion and hence Frosty is endearingly dusted with snowflakes across his back and rump.

Not at all ‘green’ Frosty is ultra-bold and careful and has plenty of scope over his fences. He has had hunted with the Beaufort and is a real confidence-giver going off any stride despite being relatively inexperienced. He is quick and clever to get out-of trouble.

His flatwork has progressed enormously since being in work this summer as he learns quickly and tries hard. He is a nice mover with correct paces and lots of presence and has the potential to do a lovely dressage test.

A very friendly, sweet horse, Frosty is loved by everyone on the yard and he is a pleasure to ‘do’. Broken at four and lightly competed as a five year old his owner’s lack of time has meant he has not had the opportunity to forge a competitive career, until now.

Frosty has spent enough time doing nothing and now is his time to shine. He will make super competition horse and companion for the right person and is surely going to be a star.
